At the heart of the Nione Initiative is a dedicated team of professionals, parents, and advocates united by a shared mission: to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and uplift the families who care for them. Our team brings together expertise in counseling, education, digital strategy, storytelling, administration, and spiritual care. Each member plays a vital role in shaping an inclusive, informed, and hopeful future for our community. Through compassion, collaboration, and commitment, we work to ensure that every child and every family feels seen, supported, and empowered.
Founder
Gisèle Willybiro-Maïdou
Gisèle is a former UN Public Information Associate and mother to a son with ASD. She resides in Dubai and is committed to the Nione Initiative, combining her professional background with her passion for faith, music, travel, and fashion.
Occupational Therapist
Victor Juma
Victor is an Occupational Therapist and Counseling Psychologist with over 7 years of experience. He supports children with special needs through school-based programs, psychomotor activities, and family-based interventions.

Annette Rono
Annette is a seasoned HR and Administration professional with 15+ years of experience. She excels in building organizational structures and strategies and is a dedicated wife and mother of two daughters.

Rev. Melanie Ross is an IPHC missionary serving in East Africa, with 15 years of experience as a Special Educator. She leads ministries focused on children with disabilities and their families through a Christ-centered approach.
